Confidential support and information.

The Upper Clutha Women’s Support Group offers a free and confidential service of advice, education and practical support to women of Wanaka and the surrounding district. Our phone support line is open 24/7 and operates via a pager system where a group of fifteen volunteers are rostered weekly to cover.

We are a non-profit organization which relies heavily on grants and donations from community groups. The Upper Clutha Women’s Support Group offers non-judgmental support to women who have or are experiencing abusive and/or violent relationships. We consider our role in the community to be of great humanitarian benefit to the women of the Upper Clutha. Additionally the individual volunteers experience personal growth in caring for those in need.
